How to use Bidcoins-in-a-Box

While there are many ways in which you can use Bidcoins-in-a-Box to internalise and memorise the Scriptures, we would like to make the following practical suggestion:

Step 1

Start off by placing your Bidcoin holder in a safe place. This place should be dry, and out of the reach of children and animals.

Step 2

Take one Bidcoin in the morning from the front of the Bidcoin holder.

Step 3

Search for the passage in the Bible from which the Scripture was taken. Follow the discipline of Lectio Diviva during the reading of the Scripture and Bible passage. (A short outline of Lectio Divina can be found on the back of the Bidcoins-in-a-Box package.)

Step 4

Take the Bidcoin with you during the day and use it as a reminder to pray and to memorise the Scripture. You can keep it in your pocket or put it in your wallet or handbag.

Step 5

Place the Bidcoin in the back of the holder at the end of the day.

Step 6

Repeat step 1-5 the next day with a new Bidcoin.

Once you have worked through the Scriptures, you are welcome to swap them out with friends and family members provided that it is safe to do so.
