Why did we create Bidcoins-in-a-Box?

The Bible teaches us how important it is to internalise and memorise Scriptures, yet there aren’t great resources available to help us do that. We tried a few of the options most commonly used by people, and encountered the following challenges:

• Writing Scriptures on pieces of paper: We tried memorising Scriptures that we wrote on pieces of paper, but our papers usually ended up torn and thrown in the trash. Those pieces of paper just never looked the same after being in a pocket for most of the day.
• Journaling: Journaling is an excellent method for capturing notes during your quiet time, however when it comes down to using it to memorise Scriptures, it simply isn’t practical to carry a journal around with you. We are thinking of beekeepers, game rangers, doctors, and the likes, who simply can’t walk around with a big bulky journal.
• Mobile devices: We tried learning Scriptures on mobile devices, but our eyes were burning by the time we got to the third Scripture. While we acknowledge the role mobile devices can play as a resource in our spiritual growth, much is currently being said about the negative effects of too much screen time.
