Bidcoins were created to aid you in cultivating the discipline of Praying Without Ceasing. In addition, it is a resource to help you explore and share the Word. The image of the praying hands on the front of the Bidcoin reminds us to converse with God throughout the day, and to not limit our prayers to a few minutes in the morning. The Scripture on the back of the Bidcoin is an invitation to read the Word with our hearts and minds.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we have to close our eyes when we pray. On the contrary, people in the Bible prayed while standing, sitting, and even while lying face down on the ground. Prayer can be done in your vehicle, while walking in nature, at work and even while relaxing. To Pray Without Ceasing means that you dedicate your entire day to God. There is not a time, situation, aspect or season of your life that you cannot talk to God about.

Today, numerous methods of Scripture reading are practiced in churches all over the world. With the aim of reading the Scripture with our hearts and minds, we propose the practice of Lectio Divina.

Lectio Divina is a discipline that enables us to experience God’s voice through His Word. It consists of a rhythm of reading and meditation which helps us to weave scripture reading and prayer into one another, so that we can strengthen our relationship with God.

By practising Lectio Divina we don’t approach the Bible with the intention of obtaining as much information as possible, nor of finding answers to life’s most challenging questions. We read the Scripture for the purpose of meeting God and to become aware of His presence in and around us.

We believe that it is important to read Scriptures for transformation and not just information, and therefore encourage you to read and wrestle with verses and the passages from which they were taken prior to swopping them out with others. Be attentive to God’s voice through the Scriptures. That said, you are welcome to swap your Bidcoins out with friends or family members provided it is safe to do so given the current health pandemic.

Below are a guidelines you should follow to take care of your Bidcoins:

• Ensure that your hands are clean and dry prior to working with the Bidcoins;
• Wipe your Bidcoins with a soft cloth to remove excess oil, dust, sweat and moisture;
• Wood expands and contracts when it gets into contact with water and hence it is imperative to keep your Bidcoins away from water;
• Wood can get darker with the passing of time. This is a natural process.;
• Store your Bidcoins in a dry and safe place when you wash the dishes, swim, or take a bath or shower;
• Guard against leaving your Bidcoins for prolonged periods in warm or moist areas.
• Guard against exposing your Bidcoins to the sun, strong chemicals or an open fire;
• Keep out of the reach of animals; and
• Keep out of the reach of children under the age of three years old.

We searched the internet far and wide to see whether we could find any conclusive proof that it was safe or advisable to sanitise MDF products (the stuff that Bidcoins are made of). With safe we mean that the product will not become damaged as a result of using sanitiser.  On account thereof that we were unable to find proof, we decided to do our own experiment whereby we sprayed sanitiser on both sides of the Bidcoin.

While our experiment showed that it appeared to be safe to use Santizer on Bidcoins, we do not know what impact the repeated use of sanitiser on Bidcoins will have on the product. Therefore, we advise following our guidelines and refraining from exchanging Bidcoins if you are displaying Covid-19 related symptoms, or swapping Bidcoins with anyone who are displaying symptoms.

If you are displaying symptoms, kindly, have yourself tested, wear a mask, and stay safe.

Bidcoins are currently available in Afrikaans and English. Our next milestone is to launch the Xhosa version in early 2021.

Mixed Pack means that it is a pack of Bidcoins that is made up of a variety of Scriptures from the Bible. Our aim with the Mixed Pack is to encourage people to immerse themselves in the Bible as a God inspired text, and to not just stick to familiar passages. Because we believe the Bible is inspired by God, the packs consist of verses from the Old and New Testament. In addition, the packs consist of popular verses, and those that may be lesser known. It is important to note that not one of these packs are currently identical. This means that a family or group of friends can order a number of variety packs with the knowledge that each person will be receiving a pack of Bidcoins made up of different Scriptures. Some verses may appear in more than one pack, but in its entirety the packs will not be identical.

You are welcome to order via our online store or via WhatsApp. Our online store uniquely integrates with Whatsapp which means that you can ‘checkout’ your order on your phone. This enables you to place your order on your mobile device without having to complete forms online. When ordering through WhatsApp we will kindly request that you send us a proof of payment once you have confirmed your order with us.

It is important to note that we enable the placing of orders even though we may not have stock readily available. This is done to confirm the interest of public which will then enable us to upscale accordingly. When an item is listed as in stock it means that we have stock readily available and can send the item for delivery. When an item is listed as on back order it means we don’t have stock on hand but we are working throughout the night to produce it.

We have for your convenience created three packs that you can order per topic: Women of Faith, Faith like Farmers and Pack of Hope. The Verses for Everyday pack is made up of various loved Old and New Testament verses.

While we understand why you would want to customise an order – and will definitely make this feature available in 2021 – we cannot currently support customisations for individual packs. We are however able to take special orders for groups, events, churches, etc. Feel free to contact us for more information.

We make use of a national courier service to ensure your order is safely delivered to you.

Orders are currently only delivered within the borders of South Africa.

If we have stock readily available then your order will be delivered within 3-4 days of placing your order. In the unfortunate scenario where we do not have stock on hand, we will produce it at the speed of Elijah (see 1 Kings 18:44-46) and keep you posted as to the expected date of delivery. If stock is not readily available, there may be a 7-14 day waiting period before we can deliver your order.

You can use the tracking number which we sent to you via WhatsApp or email to track the delivery of your order. Simply enter the number on the website of our courier company.

Depending on the method you used to place your order, you can find your tracking number on the email notification that you received from us or by checking the WhatsApp message that we sent to you.

You have two options. We can delay the delivery of your order until you are back home safely, or we can deliver your order to your holiday destination. As long as your holiday destination has an address of some sort we should be able to deliver it to you. As precaution, we kindly request that you reach out to us so we can confirm whether we would be able to deliver to your holiday destination.

Bidcoin.Faith is not affiliated to a specific church denomination. We want to serve all groups and denominations that believe in Jesus.

Apart from the Biblical significance of the number seven, we didn’t want to leave you feeling overwhelmed by expecting you to memorise 200 verses all at once.

The seven Bidcoins equate to one for every day of the week. We are of the opinion that seven will be easy and challenging enough, and leave you excited to memorise seven more. Once you have read through and memorised your seven Bidcoins you are welcome to swap them out with friends or family members, and restart the process of memorising seven more. Remember to always follow our guidelines prior to swapping Bidcoins out with others.
